Ida Bell Hannah, age 87 of Benton, Arkansas died Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at Heritage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Hot Springs. She was born on October 16, 1922 in White County, Arkansas to her late parents Charles Edward Hannah and Velma Corbit Gillham. Ida was a veteran of the Women’s Army Corps and helped build B-17s during WWII.
Survivors include one son Rodney Bowers (Donna) of Lonsdale, AR; one sister, Charlene Bulloch of Port Richey, FL, three brothers, Brooks Hannah of Port Orange, FL, Jesse Hannah of Fayetteville, AR and J. L. Hannah of Searcy, AR; three grandchildren, Stephanie Mohr (Michael) of Benton, AR, Paige Bowers of Conway, AR and Benjamin Bowers of Benton, AR. She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, Della Anderson and Mary Jay and 2 brothers, Clarence and Ronald Gene Hannah.
